Hi Kim, that's great, very dynamic! thssupp
I love alkyds, they are my favourite. All the beauty of oils with faster drying, they are adorable. :D

This looks great to me also Kim thssupp
do you need to use thinners with these paints? I am concerned about making my house smell of turps or similar.

Hi Kim,
A nice present for your great grandson. Good expression and well painted.
I have not used alkyds, are they easy to use?
Best regards,
Pierre

Thank you all for your comments I have used water soluble oils previously but find the alkyds much easier for their fast drying qualities .Dorothy I used liquine to coat my canvas which lets you work wet into wet you can clean your brushes or dilute with a low odour turps or spirit but I just used a little extra liquine if it became sticky .their is virtually no smell with them I have to be careful with what I use as my husband has lung problems .
Pierre, yes they are very easy to use and dry by next day Ken Bromley has just had a sale on them with fast reliable service do not know if they are still on offer .
