I treated myself to a little book from the SAA last week, "10-minute Watercolours" from Hazel Soan and I truly recommend it.
It contains about 187 pages of essential watercolour tips which, I feel, are really useful whether you're a beginner or a more advanced artist. The explanations are very easy to understand and the themes varied. It's a pocket size book, which means you can take it everywhere with you! And the price is very decent too (less than £5).

Sounds useful Florence, specially if its all those things we should do but can never remember how to :)
I also have this great little book, plus others in the series
Watercolur tips by Ian King
Sketching by Jackie Simmonds
2 others I find useful in the Collins gem series, are Trees and butterflies
(claphands) (thumbs) (claphands) Sounds really good, will keep an eye out for it! (loveh) Sylvia
